'Reality without restraint' was the official debut of Belgian writer Christophe Van Gerrewey (1982) on the Dutch-speaking literary scene. It was part of his collection of 'fictional architecture criticisms' (published in 2004 by Vlees & Beton ), and it appeared in 2005 in the literary magazine DWB . This handsome edition makes this remarkable short story, that takes place inside of the famous Villa dall'Ava designed by Rem Koolhaas/OMA, available to a wider English-speaking audience. The booklet is illustrated with a 'Chinese perspective' of the house, produced at the time of construction by Xaveer De Geyter.
