An interesting and much needed contribution to a still politically delicate issue of the genocide of the Guanches of the Canary Islands. When visiting the small island Gomera some years ago I encountered a local anthropologist who apparently didn't believe in the Guanche issue. He was actually denying the whole thing saying they were only " a mythical people"!! Shame on this false scientist! Later I saw with my own eyes mumies of some ancient species of Guanches in the museum of Tenerifa. But high praise to the very competent and brave scientist Jose L. Concepcion for sharing his important insight with us.
