THE DEEP - PETER BENCHLEY

KORTE INHOUD

The secret which unlokcks this story by the author of Jaws lies on a coral reef off Bermuda. It's a harmless-looking ampoule, presumably from a World War Two wreck. It is found by a couple of honeymooners who are keen on diving ... and suddenly they are plunged headlong into danger. It comes from Cloche, the sinister revoluntionary who has an island under his control: to get his hand on what the ampoule represents he will stop at nothing. The couple's only ally is a diver and treasure-hunter with his own reasons for thwarting Cloche, and from his they learn that there are other secrets in the water. What follows is a race against time, a battle of wits and a challenge to the sea and its perils.
