Johan Pas (b. 1963), professor, author and curator, shares in the exhibition his more than twenty years old passion for art books: "'Artists' books are more than any other artistic medium able to infiltrate into the cultural network. They are stubborn obstacles in time, simultaneously they spread out around the world, slowly but surely." Johan Pas selected for each year a title from his collection: 'This one title a year is a self-imposed restriction to keep the choice sharp and the story bright.' The story begins with Yves Klein and ends (for now) with Vaast Colson and Dennis Tyfus. In the book, Multiple/Readings, all exhibited books are extensively discussed and illustrated.
