?As a result of the ever-increasing societal emphasis on health, active living, and sport participation, exercise and sport psychology have become flourishing and expandings fields. The aim of this book is to bear witness of the fascinating research issues that are being dealt with in contemporary sport and exercise psychology in Europe. The contributors are colleagues from ten universities from all over Europe that have been partners in organizing the European Master in Exercise and Sport Psychology, which has started in 1996 and has trained more than 200 students.
