?Prayer in Josephus? may not be the final word on either Josephus or prayer, but it is an important groundbreaking study which greatly contributes to the study of both fields. It will hopefully serve as a catalyst in arousing further interest in this particular branch of Josephan studies. We look forward to future studies of Jonquière on these and any other matters.?
